"Rick and his team are fabulous to work with! I had the pleasure of having him represent me long distance. He was easy to communicate with and gave detailed information about every step of my case. The firm responded to each of my phone calls, and emails in a very timely manner and answered all my questions with care and concern for me. He and his team care about your individual case and have your best interests in mind. Thank you for such a blessed experience!!!"

David Weber, Attorney

For David Weber, trial advocacy is a lifelong passion. David earned degrees magna cum laude in Political Science and Communication Studies with an emphasis in Rhetorical Theory from Loyola University in Chicago. He then earned his Juris Doctorate cum laude from Washington
University. By the time he graduated from law school, David had more than ten years of experience competing in and coaching for high school, undergraduate, and law school mock trial teams, and was nationally recognized for his skills. David has been recognized as a double All American by the American Mock Trial Association, was the captain of the Washington University Trial Team, and earned the Lawyers’ Association of St. Louis’ Miltion F. Napier Trial Advocacy award. This training allowed David to begin earning first-chair trial experience within months of becoming licensed in both Missouri and Illinois. David has tried cases before juries in both state and federal courts and has argued before the American Arbitration Association and the Missouri Court of Appeals.

Prior to joining Voytas Law, David worked for larger regional firms in the St. Louis area where he managed hundreds of active matters in all stages of litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants. David has trained and mentored younger attorneys and developed software and systems to organize and streamline large caseloads for litigation teams and clients.

David joined Voytas Law in 2022 in order to put the skills he has developed in and outside of the courtroom to work for our clients. He knows that while financial considerations often play an important role in legal decisions, the legal process is about far more than money, and that effective advocacy requires not only skill, but also compassion, understanding, and experience. David works hard to understand his clients’ priorities, and knows that each case is unique.

David also strives to give back in the classroom, where he teaches trial advocacy at the undergraduate level. He has been fortunate to work with both Fordham Lincoln Center in New York and Loyola University in Chicago, and is passionate about doing his part to help build the next generation of advocates.
